Great company, with bad HR

Pros

Great company, great business, now fantastic giant leap in engineering. CEO is the best in the industry - visionary, very hard working and yet still close to people when needed.

Cons

HR is disaster. Led by person who literally hates people. There is such a turnaround in the organisation in HR, people below her are all scared (and hate her). Her focus seem to be only on DEI. Of course there are plenty of good things also, but the perception that she creates is making people leave (good people).

Pros

Can’t think of any positives

Cons

- They call themselves a sports technology business but it’s a betting business with a betting culture - The leadership team have no decision making rights or delegated authority, all is dictated by the CEO who runs the company by point to point Zoom calls - The company has no strategy, instead what happens depends on the mood of the CEO on the day - Even the Board is toothless since the CEO controls the majority of the votes and he does what he likes - The US business is neglected and everything centres around Europe - Staff and management turnover is incredibly high so there is no continuity - The list goes on….
