Pros

Friendly and helpful colleagues. Overall environment is pleasant.

Cons

• Entry-level experience for those just starting out in tech or support roles • Opportunity to build technical skills in a fast-paced environment Cons: • Low base pay, especially for those based in Eastern Europe • No additional pay for night shifts, and no benefits • Highly inconsistent shift scheduling: early mornings, late afternoons, and one to two night shifts per week — very disruptive to work-life balance • Heavy workload, often overwhelming, especially during peak support periods • Many support roles require strong technical knowledge, which isn’t reflected in the compensation This setup may work for beginners or younger professionals looking to gain initial experience, but overall, the conditions don’t justify the demands of the role - particularly in lower-paying regions.

Pros

This job is remote the only pro.

Cons

My experience with SupportYourApp was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. After successfully going through the hiring process which took for weeks and around 4-5 stages of interview, I was offered the job and accepted it, even turning down two other opportunities to commit to them. However, on day one, things immediately took a turn. Without informing me in advance, they changed both my assigned shift and my position. These were never mentioned during the hiring process, and I found out only after I had already started. To make matters worse, I had a pre-booked travel commitment planned based on the initially agreed shift, and they refused to accommodate even a small adjustment. Instead, they placed me “on hold” and said they would look for an alternative role. I waited for two full weeks with zero updates or communication. In the meantime, I saw open positions for my country on their LinkedIn page, yet they claimed there were no available roles for me. Eventually, they told me there was nothing they could offer and ended my employment leaving me jobless after I had already declined other offers to join them. The entire process was handled with a complete lack of transparency, responsibility, or respect. No one ever took ownership of the situation, and the communication was either delayed or non-existent. I felt misled, mistreated, and ultimately discarded without any concern for the impact on my career or well-being. I strongly urge others to think twice before accepting any offer from SupportYourApp. What looks structured and professional on the outside can end up being chaotic and careless on the inside. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
