No movement unless it benefits the company, period. Promotion approved and pending for several months is unacceptable. Loyalty means nothing. Good employees leaving all the time. Hiring of green employees at your same level. CEO asks for ideas yet zero support for needed changes. Mgmt takes credit for your skill/knowledge/resolutions. Zero bonus, zero spotlight points, zero sense of performance appraisal process bc it does nothing. Create your own comraderie bc it’s every dept for himself.

Another year with no bonuses despite the fact that our CEO told investors on the last earnings call that the bonus pool would be funded. Great for retention in a company that can barely retain employees. But, our leadership team of 150 people took had a nice week in West Palm Beach in January on a leadership summit where they had the finest meals with open bars all 4 days. Why not have the summit in the underutilized Raleigh HQ instead of spending money we clearly do not have?! We have been expected to do more than less for the last 3 years and our bonuses have never been fully funded. Absolute definition of poor leadership.

If you like a work environment where you are valued as a person, you feel supported in your work and the path forward is communicated clearly and transparently, then look elsewhere. Management from Assoc. Dir all the way to the top don't know how to communicate, how to show that they value their team and demonstrated daily that you are just a body to them. A simple navigation to the cafepharma.com company boards will show you the real deal.
