Zero work life balance and flourishing favouritism culture
Pros
In my opinion, the only 'Pros' in case of working with Synopsys India is that you get to leave the company after realizing that you made a mistake by joining it. This is the only learning you will get sooner or later. They will show you the world during the interview, but don't believe them.
Cons
Main highlight is, this place has zero work life balance. You will work for 13-14 hours in a day, another employee just for just 3-4 hours, and still you will be asked to more. If you highlight this situation to your manager, they will simply ignore it. True Story! You are and will be on your own. This place runs on favouritism and regionalism, especially the Technical Writing team. Inclusion and Diversity initiatives are for PR purpose only. 1. Synopsys Bengaluru has the worst company culture and leadership I have ever seen. 2. Managers are more interested in exaggerating small tasks as humongous achievements. They are well focused towards themselves so much that they forget to lead the team with a clear vision. Not saying they don't know, they are just not bothered. 4. If you are a manager's favourite, you will get the fortune and glory, talent and knowledge doesn't matter here. People with zero technical knowledge are promoted Leads, where the only way they know to lead is to micro-manage and show your efforts as theirs. (Again True story!) 5. Neglectful managers, you can cry in front of them they will keep singing their own song. 6. You will be working on two-three releases simultaneously, deadline is the same for all of them. Where you will work for 13-14 hours because the work-load is there and your colleague will work for just 3-4 hours, because that colleague is your manager's favorite. "No work life balance". They will assure you they will take action, but they will not.
