Pros

Hardly any job will pay you as much as this one does. I get paid 24k/yr base salary + bonus and free health insurance. Work environment is also great. 2 QHD 27'' monitors just for you and and a laptop to work at home while COVID doesn't go away

Cons

Let's see, I'm still new. Nothing to point atm

Pros

You can use the best tools owned by the company and a lot of freedom in you freetime to learn more. Good conditions of work.

Cons

Defensive posture between colleagues in some teams. You might be overloaded with work during some periods of time. Lack of relaxed environment and periods of high stress. In small tasks you will find a lot of documentation and sometimes you will find it repetitive, even confusing.

Pros

1. I joined DDRPHY IP Verification team, Synopsys in Jan 2020 while I was still in 8th semester of my under-graduation. 2. Few specific highlights :- a. An Intern is exposed to as much level of information as any other employee in the team. b. There is no hierarchy that needs to be followed while asking something. For example, If I need to ask something from my manager’s manager, I can directly ask without going through my manager. c. The exposure is very wide, working with people across the globe. The above points helps a lot in easing out the initial learning experience for undergrads. 3. In July, 2020, I was converted to a full time employee. The virtual onboarding process was very smooth, they were separate virtual sessions from the HR team, facilities team, payroll team etc.. and these sessions were right from the scratch which helped freshers like me grasp most of the things. a. I was delivered the new hire laptop at my door step when I was working from my hometown. b. Employees are given flexibility to buy specific WFH Equipment as well which can be reimbursed to help in the process of working from home.

Cons

No Cons as such from the existing experience till date.
