      Pros

      Smart co-workers. Average pay and benefits.

      Cons

      Work culture did not promote or incentivize collaboration between groups working on similar ideas, even when it would be beneficial. Managers not held accountable when they made poor decisions. Not diverse. Disorganized, poor onboarding and training and few opportunities for career growth.

      A fantastic innovative company in the areas of their original core competency.

      Cons

      Abysmal management of the acquired Black Duck product group. In 20 years as an accomplished manager and individual contributor at successful top-tier and startup companies, this is the most chaotic and unfriendly group I have ever experienced. Sink or swim onboarding, a very aggressive release cadence, buggy complex home-grown tools, very weak documentation quality assurance workflow processes, lack of management strategy and focus are all a significant drag on productivity and quality.

      Pros

      There is a decent engineering team in this business unit. The sales engineering team is well-rounded and knowledgeable.

      Cons

      There is corrupt leadership in place with no strategy, team building, respect or career opportunity in place. At least do your research and talk to few people before joining so you do not regret your decision.
