      Synopys as a global company is good, but the HR policies at synopsys india are not so emoplyee friendly.

      Competitive salary, a very good team and working on latest technology.

      Cons

      I dont like the HR policies in synopsys bangalore. No one is approacble in the HR or management team. Some policies are made in such a way it benefits to only the top management or senior manager not to all employees. You feel as if you are working only for salary, u are never appreciated, no gifts or bonus, even on diwali. You dont feel special, just a common employee in the herd. The HR team is synopsys bangalore is led few people who have been present in the company for a long time and they dictate their own rules. If you question them you will be targeted. Synopsys is really a great company and this monopoly among bangalore HR should stop.

      Pros

      Stable job security in niche field. Some nice smart domain experts.

      Cons

      Top heavy management t, not enough good developers. Promotion is based primarily on scheduled timelines rather than merit. Lots of petty politics, too much pride amongst senior developers, that prevent innovation, which resulted with high turn-over rate.

      Pros

      Synopsys as a company is good in terms of benefits and job security. Bonus, RSUs (on specific years), insurance, holidays etc. are very good. Car policy, loans, medical benefits are some of the reasons you find people working there for many years.

      Cons

      Impressing the higher management by making technical writers to work for long hours. Lot of out-of-release works are imposed as KRAs - only to show fancy numbers and achievement slides to the management. No importance given to individual happiness, or growth. Annual compensation is less than 10 percent.
