Pros

You could be a supervisor in a few months if you participate in the development program. Be good at math. You can refer and work with friend and family

Cons

There are not flex time and benefit. Only work hard. No clear rules in the compensation policy. Few minutes of break.

Pros

There are (awful) vending machines. Free parking (if you get there early enough) Every now and then (usually once a year when they have an employee satisfaction survey coming out) they provide free hot food.

Cons

They will freeze salaries without any communication, pertinent information such as this has to be discovered through the grape vine. If you work hard, don't go sick and reach your targets you might avoid a coaching plan. You might even become on of the 'chosen ones' but don't get too excited. You can land an offline role with ten times the workload for none of the benefits; no salary increase, no paid overtime and you can enjoy being micro-managed so you don't every really have any of the responsibilities you were promised when you became their favourite. They'll bring in people from the outside to 'fix' the problems that have been swept under the rug for the last 3 or 4 years but really nothing will get done. A few 'motivational' emails will go out but honestly, all that has done is anger people even further. If you don't hit your targets, even in a short space of time, you will be performance managed and they will work harder to fire you than to support you. I have seen people in the business as little as 2 months on coaching plans. It is frankly, disgusting! Morale is the worst I have ever witnessed and it is not looking like it will get better.

Pros

Good promotion prospects if management like you. Good security. Toilets are always clean. Showers on site. Building well maintained. 30 days of holiday

Cons

Communication from senior management is extremely poor. Work public holidays and religious holidays (open 365 days). Bullying culture, rife with nepotism. Talent means nothing, there is nothing you can offer this company unless you are favoured. Incorrect people in on site senior roles, however i can not comment on anything beyond site level. Employees are the companies last concern. Very cloak and dagger, management lie to keep staff motivated, rather than motivational activities. Quite a few of the management team would rather dismiss staff than offer any level of support. Consistent contradiction in pretty much every area. Junior management consistently breaking the same rules which they are more than happy to enforce (comes back to bully culture). Questionable business practice, very limited knowledge of what they are obligated to do by law with particular regard to holidays/absence amongst other things. Working hours. Childish atmosphere with regards to punishment, it is similar to any popular television soap. Gossip... Unbelievable levels of gossip, everyone knows everything about anyone who has been to disciplinary for any reason. Incapable management sidestepping roles into another management position with equal responsibility. (back to nepotism).
