If you're a BIPOC, person with disabilities or a woman, you won't be treated fairly or equitably. You'll be expected to do far more above your job description and pay grade to even be recognized among your peers and if you want to have a work-life balance and separation you will be punished for it. Pay is not competitive for the market at all unless you're a new hire, once you're hired though you cannot make any sort of career advance internally.
