      Pros

      Great benefits; on a mission to change the world; fun company; food/drink supplied in office; everything is designed to empower and enable the Sales team to avoid spending time or energy on minutiae.

      Cons

      Hired too much external leadership while avoiding hiring top internal contributors; no investment in management; becoming very corporate with growth and hanging on to a startup culture that is long gone, and pretending name brand recognition will keep around the talented people they've landed; hiring cheap/young sales talent instead of capable and well-equipped talent; lots of changes in Sales leadership team has worried the sales team that they're next.

      Very solid engineering culture, approachable management, and collaborative colleagues. They definitely take the time to ramp you up and make you feel welcome as an employee.

      Pros

      Culture, environment, people, and collaborative, it was a GREAT place to work. It provides free breakfast, lunch, and snacks, so you never go hungry. Training is amazing as they put a lot of effort into it, and even at times the CEO will do part of the training. Made me appreciate the product more, as I already used it going into the company. Tableau also encourages employees to attend the annual customer conference, which is also an amazing experience! So many pros, I can go on.

      Cons

      The only con I can think of is the open floor plan. While I like to collaborate, it was hard to focus on detailed work, or be on the phone without everyone looking or listening. I hear this is the modern thing companies are doing, so probably hard to stay away from. I left Tableau because of the commute. I bought a house and was commuting 4 hours a day.
