As a member of the inside public sector team, I'm incredibly disappointed in my experience. As a disclaimer, this feedback does not apply to the commercial organization (they seem to have it together), rather, directly at the public sector leadership. If you're not a white male selling in the field, then you really don't matter to the leaders of this team. They barely knew our names or cared about the work we were doing, even though they were making money off of every deal we sold. They have zero accountability when it comes to onboarding reps, training our sellers, and worst of all, our customers. As inside reps, we work hard to keep relationships with our customers (since we're not in the field), and leadership couldn't care unless the deals yield massive revenue. Basically, we're just a number to them.
