Pros

Decent base pay bonus money if the sales group makes their numbers and the solution architect snags most of the professional services hours

Cons

Highly political. Solutions architects compete against each other to get chosen by Account Executives in presale situations. They want to monopolize the professional services hours for themselves.Turf wars over the best accounts and account executives. Managers play favorites based on drinking buddy status instead of skill and productivity.

Pros

- People I work with are great and care about their work. - San Diego office will be going to an open space concept this year to attract younger talent. - Free onsite gym, basketball courts, volleyball court, outdoor track, foosball, ping pong, and pool table. - Starbucks-like coffee shop with discounted drinks.

Cons

- Heard salary is lower than other tech companies in San Diego. - Little to no salary increases and bonus. Company is going through layoffs and transition from Fall of 2015 through 2016/2017. - Through its actions, upper management has proven it doesn't care about employees' opinions.

Pros

Flexible/virtual working Some good people - who struggle against the tide Good customer loyalty program (Peer Advantage)

Cons

Too slow moving/too much process & admin Long hours culture - excellent results expected without the right support (across many parts of the business) Trying to run ALL parts of the business - as if everything still is the warehouse business circa 1999. Lack of direction from Leadership Team Macho Culture - the annual ethics training include the advice that most people who complain to the ethics line are themselves disciplined. (says it all really) old boy network in leadership Poor Marketing strategy & delivery
