I worked with Teradata for only 6 months and realized that the work that I was hired for and what I was doing was completly opposite. Employment Bond : Never ever sign an employment bond with teradata, because if you will be sure if you want to loose any hard earned money. Un-skilled Team leads: Poorly skilled team leads with no leadership quality with dictatorship behavior. Wrong hiring: You can be asked to work on any old age technologies and cannot request for any project changes until an year. Poor shift management: People can be asked to worknin 2 different shift timings within a week. Poor capacity planning : They hire the best but only few causing un-necessary workload. Low level work: Un-necessary operational overhead, micro management.

Teradata is engaged in much needed transformation however there is growing disconnect between senior leadership and the field. For some senior leaders, the transformation has become the business instead of how the business is being changed. Not nimble, growing amount of layers and processes despite a stated goal to improve this. ‘Head in sand’ with respect to competitive threats - our strategy is the only answer, full speed ahead..
