Pros

People here are some of the nicest I've ever met. Office sports such as badminton, basketball, and ping pong encourage friendly interaction and competition as well as exercise for employees. Depending on the team, code can be either ridiculously clean or horribly written.

Cons

Depending on the team, work can be boring or challenging (read: super busy). The database is pretty well developed so some features are just precautions. Also, bureaucracy slows down the development process considerably, although arguably that's what's required to maintain high standards.

Pros

The work can be challenging. Most people were respectful to each other and were pleasant to work with. Free coffee and soda. Office was close to home.

Cons

Office was a terrible place to work. Very poor lighting and just as bad heating/cooling. You can clearly hear people talking in the break room even though your cube is located far away from it. Management is terrible. They are not creative. More worried about metrics on employees than on how work is getting done. Always playing catch-up to other vendors, and implementing features that provider little value to customers. No work life-balance. Always need to work to make unreasonable deadlines. Reward people working on favored projects even though people working on other projects work just as hard and are just as productive. Management will vehemently deny this but everyone that works there knows it is true. Every year had to contribute more money towards less benefits. This is probably true for most other companies.
