Pros

Really nice people. Nice working environment.

Cons

People management is a mess. When the project was over they were quick to let you go without exploring different departments within the company to put you in. Two weeks later there were three positions within the company that fit my specific job criteria.

Pros

A lot of really great and smart people to work with.

Cons

Internal communication is lacking and top management still holds to an outdated command and control style of leadership. Also going through a massive transformation right now which creates a lot of stress and uncertainty.

Tough Times for Teradata

Pros

Smart co-workers and independent work conditions. The triad selling concept worked well until all of the layoffs. Strong legacy business in data warehousing but not strong in cloud offerings.

Cons

Company does not have a strong strategic direction and is confused as to where to focus sales opportunities. Stock decline is one of the worst on Wall Street. Layoffs will continue until business improves or the company is sold.
