Pros
Teradata has been seen as a leader in the data warehouse space for years with top notch performance and scalability. In the market, you had instant name recognition in the warehouse space, but that did not translate into the marketing applications space unfortunately. Compensation and benefits seemed to be slightly better than average. Work/life balance was generally reasonable with sometimes better or worse than others.
Cons
Leadership has been unable to execute over the last few years in the marketing application space which resulted in the October 2015 announcement of selling that division. Teradata has never been a player in the enterprise software market, and even buying top names in that market didn't change things.
