      Formerly great company brought down by bureaucracy

      Dedicated and hard-working rank and file, great core technology

      Cons

      ex-NCR management perpetuated the NCR bureaucracy to the point that it almost brought down Teradata. Terribly slow internal processes and top-down culture make it very hard to deal with massive changes in the data world.
