Exciting, innovating, knowing that you are working on cutting edge technology that is helping to change the world's perception of electric automotive transport. Tesla has some of the most knowledgeable people in their field, who are driven to push outside the boundaries of the norm to create and build, what was once scoffed at as, "it can't be done that way." If you are looking for a company that will allow you to explore the outer limits this is the place for you.

Cons

This is still a young company with growing pain type problems, the direction and focus changes daily, sometimes hourly, which has an impact on team moral. There are not enough hours in the day to incorporate the constant changes the need to be implemented as soon as recognized, which leads to long days, lots of hours, and in some cases, no time off for days on end. Work life balance is off balance and having a contrarian view can lead to dismissal, in every form imaginable, which leads to repeated head bumping.
