Pros

- Management was hands off (no micromanaging), but still expected performance - Work wasn't too bad at times - Good benefits - Matching 401k - I was there during a period of high growth so I was able to make a little extra by buying their stocks which we were able to do for slightly cheaper than the market rate

Cons

- Too many management tiers highly favorable and dominated by women (I honestly cannot think of a single male manager in the Fremont office when I was there and always found that weird) - Little to no growth within company, meaningless yearly raises & bonuses - Less structured - Low pay especially considering my geographic location (Bay Area) - Company nickle & dimed you when it came to expenses - Meal allowances too low

Pros

Location: 5 mins walk from mrt station Big name in the industry Work life balance

Cons

Too much politics in this company. Even team leaders backstab their team members. 90% females. Senior management can dislike you based on a "feel". I have witness team leaders bullying their team members. Toxic work environment. Salary is much lower than market rate. Job scope is often too specific. You hardly learn much. Singapore branch is very separate from global team. Company claims to care about the growth of employees. However, management expects you to know almost everything and don't bother to train.

Pros

Great products and technologies ; Get to be part of and young and awesome talent; Inspiring leadership and awesome Teams; Great attention to quality and right amount of processes. Great team spirit and very enriching culture; Thanks ET India! Never let naysayers come even closer!

Cons

Not able to fire poisonous folks who have no work except to be jealous of other teams. Please take quick action to exit these folks who keep cribbing for every thing from policies, food, coffee and transport. Last thing on their mind is work though they keep claiming they are working hard (really ?). Greed, selfishness, incompetence and ignorance are the hallmarks of these folks. These folks never had anything useful to contribute at any level- self, team or org. It is funny when we hear "business" and "revenue" talk from these folks who don't even know how to perform. Every month they come up with a 'cry' topic. Wonder how can any organisation put up with such nuisance and for how long? Need better first level managers and not cry babies and gossip gang. Some of these folks cannot even communicate forgot managing careers for the assigned teams. Basic things like 1:1s are a disaster. Why do they still want to continue as "managers". Feel they are really damagers. I feel it is not their fault but those who hired these incapable managers. And even worse are the folks these incompetent managers hired. Together these two groups are a deadly combination to stall any success or good work. Wonder why they don't realise and just leave instead of making it hard for all.
