Pros

Technical staff is very knowledgeable Great environment with non-management staff Well known for Agile innnovation Looks good on a resume Pretty good benefits

Cons

Be prepared for the president of the company to insult your religious beliefs Consultants are expected to be on the road Sun thru Thurs and in the office on Friday. Basically work more than 50 hours per week- not including travel Little respect for non-liberals and the military US leaders are not well educated in business management and don't have good relationships with non-managers Very disorganized No respect for operations people and non-consultants Lots of staff turnover New comers are outside the clicks and don't get treated equally Employee morale is very low-- people don't feel appreciated No mentoring or formal learning opportunities Keep in mind that when they win the Best Places to Work Awards its only because they pay for them.

Pros

At one point the people were truly wonderful to work with. I learned a lot in my first couple of years there.

Cons

The last few years at Tw were stagnant and filled with uncertainty. It was clear that my line manager had no vested interest in my growth. They'll say that your growth at Tw all depends on you which is true. But it also came down to who you know and where you worked before. They'll comment that this isn't the case, that your growth is self directed, but that's simply not true. I saw people being promoted for virtually no reason, people who had a reputation for getting little done and also being difficult to work with. Meanwhile, the people who were highly regarded as model coworkers were often laid off or resigned. Sad culture that, now with an ex-Accenture CEO will be totally lost.

Pros

What pros I can see is the onboard package with 4 mil VND for buying home setup, hybrid working

Cons

• They just don’t want you to move from Junior to Senior level. The grade change process is a joke, with no clear criteria to determine if you are qualified, have enough experience, or are ready for the change. • What you can do at TW is everything and keep all evidence for review, but they will always find a reason to reject you. • The People Team is unprofessional and lacks knowledge of labor laws, and the process is inconsistent between countries. • Performance appraisals are a joke. They assign a Performance Partner from another project and country, someone who has no knowledge of your performance. • There is no reasonable explanation for layoffs; they are not transparent and keep everything secret. • They claim to promote diversity and equality, but people from Thailand only protect Thais, leaving out people from other countries. • Constructive feedback from this company is also a joke.

Thank you for the time and thought you put into this feedback. As I'm sure you know, feedback is what allows our culture to grow and improve. And all Thoughtworkers, current and former, are empowered to speak up especially if they don't agree with something so thank you for using your voice. We are committed to fostering a transparent and inclusive environment where all employees have equal opportunities to grow and succeed. We acknowledge the difficult decision to make redundancies and the impact it has had on our colleagues. These changes were necessary to support the future growth of our business and we deeply regret the loss of talented team members and passionate Thoughtworkers. We'd like to invite you to continue the dialogue by reaching out directly to pattama.t@thoughtworks.com. Thank you again for your feedback.
