Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that it has been a challenging time for the organization, and we've had to make some tough decisions regarding our people. Unfortunately, some roles were made redundant because they no longer aligned with our anticipated needs for the upcoming quarters. Our current hiring efforts are focused on roles that match our strategic goals and the demands we foresee. This approach ensures that we are well-positioned to meet our clients' needs and continue growing as a company. At Thoughtworks, we are committed to providing a stable and supportive environment for our employees, and we encourage open dialogue. Please feel free to reach out directly to me at sanyam.sharma@thoughtworks.com if you’d like to discuss your concerns further.

Pros

Remote work. Tons of learning opportunity.

Cons

No investment in internal systems or processes. Company is dying after going public. Everyone is quitting. Layoff after layoff and no accountability at executive level. Replaced the CEO at least, but this was clearly a board move and none of the others who have been failing forever are taking any accountability for the terrible company performance, terrible company culture, or ridiculous lack of strategy and planning. Now is not the time to join this company... Wait and watch for it to sink or swim. Other issues... No pay raises for three years. Obnoxious review processes taking way too much time and offering no value to anyone. Confusing policies changing all the time about how to manage and enter working hours (other than to make you work way too many hours without being paid properly). Complete lack of clarity on roles and responsibilities. Chaos since they laid off everybody who actually knew what to do, everybody else who could leave has, and the only people left are the dinosaurs and the duds who haven't found something better yet. It is really sad to be here right now watching this legacy die.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I'm sure you know, feedback is what allows our culture to grow and improve. And all Thoughtworkers are empowered to speak up especially if they don't agree with something so thank you for using your voice. We confirm that we have made a number of Thoughtworkers redundant across the business. We strive to make Thoughtworks equitable, reflective and inclusive of the society in which we live, however, these changes were necessary to support the future growth of our business. We did not make this decision lightly and regret that we had to say goodbye to some talented and passionate Thoughtworkers. We'd like to invite you to continue the dialogue by reaching out directly to tim.ogorman@thoughtworks.com.

Pros

The brand still carries some reputation from the past.

Cons

Extremely woke culture, with the old guard resisting change and resenting new employees who are eager to embrace the change and take the company forward.
