Pros

You will have the option to give talks with the company and outside.

Cons

I joined Thoughtworks Melbourne seeing the good(fake) reviews on glassdoor. No work-life balance. Unprofessional people do not even have good projects They have some marketing ideas like tech radar/tech talks which helps them to be in the market news.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It's disappointing to read that you encountered a negative experience during your time at Thoughtworks. We’re sure you know that feedback is what allows our culture to grow and improve. We appreciate your insights as they help us continue to address the pain points for our employees. Work-life balance is something we’ve had our eye on recently, which is why our Talent team established the ‘Sustainable Working Initiative’. This serves to support our employees strike a better balance and to help them navigate the competing demands for their time. We understand it’s not always easy, especially during a pandemic. Being a consultancy, there is always a wide range of ongoing engagements we undertake for our clients. These provide varying growth opportunities for all our consultants. We always aim to align project needs and consultant interests to deliver the best experience for all involved, and are disappointed to hear that we were unable to meet your expectations in this area. Thanks again for your review.

Pros

A few old TWers are good and you can get inspiration from them.

Cons

To much fake and pretentious. It seems company is only running on marketing. Too much noise makers. Less quality in delivery.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We believe our community is our strongest asset: the passionate teammates we have working in both professional services and operations bring a variety of backgrounds, views, and ideas to ThoughtWorks. It's disappointing to read that you've encountered teammates who seem fake or pretentious, as those are qualities that aren't aligned with our values. We do, however, encourage everyone to feel empowered to provide feedback, so we appreciate you taking the time to share this with us.
