Pros
Trayport is a great place to work. For me their biggest asset is their passion to promote within. Internal movement and promotions are encouraged and self-development is something that is truly valued by all employees and leaders. They also make a point of celebrating promotions, most recently through their all encompassing intranet site. Whilst Trayport has structure, they also ensure employees that may not fit the exact job roles are catered for and roles are created or altered to suit. A big reason why I left my previous company and have been able to thrive at Trayport.
Another great benefit of working for Trayport, is that there are so many opportunities to learn. You can join internal training sessions, access online resources or learn from others, of which everyone welcomes.
The culture at Trayport is very welcoming. Senior management are very approachable and from working at a larger company, this was one of the biggest differences for me. The people team are also always looking for ways this can be improved and set up many initiatives and events.
Trayport are also very diligent in their annual appraisals, ensuring your objectives are set and that they are linked to your annual bonus. There is also a big focus on having regular catch-ups with your manager to ensure you remain on track and any of your concerns small or large are addressed.
Cons
There are a few larger characters that can dominate which is sometimes challenging and works against the culture Trayport are visibly promoting however on the whole there is a great sense of openness and inclination to help each other.
