- Lots of perks like free breakfasts, social events and a good benefits package. - Some fantastic people working for the company who care about what they do.

Cons

- Majority of the people in charge lack management skills. People gain higher positions due to the length of time they've been with the company rather than their skill set. - Some managers extremely rude and unprofessional to other members of staff. - Some of their best employees are majorly overlooked and the turnover of staff is high because of this. - Lack of forward thinking.

Social events are not bad

Cons

Politics and bad management decisions beyond belief. 'We make all the decisions' management team mentaility, so no-one else stands a chance. A CEO and COO that are just not good enough and surround themselves by largely former NZX employees that seem to lack even basic skills in managing people or a business. Lots of reviews, particlarly in April 2013, that look like 'holiday adverts' written by Trayport's management, recruitment and PR people to make things nice. So advice to would-be joiners is to just ask lots of questions before committing.

Free social events, very talented engineers.

Cons

Warning: if you try to leave to go to a "competitor" they will attempt to sue you. Even normal Dev and QA. This happened multiple times when I was there and has continued after I left.
