One of the first conversations I had with someone, they told me 'don't get used to your manager because they change often'. Consistent management changes make it difficult to progress your career and complete an application build. I was there for 5yrs and had 4 different managers within the same department. Each manager had a different view on how the application should be built. Five years later and the application has not been built

the above, and flexible working hours when you need time off. I'm lucky, I have a great and understanding line manager. Lots of employee benefits. Nice working environment in London.

Good work culture Good colleagues Best campus in the city Poor technology interface at UBS compared to CS Lack of documentation and minimal adherence to agile process.

Cons

It was such a good company, but since acquisition of CS the reorganization and manager changes have demoralise employees. Good managers have no say in layoff list, as it comes from business head and final message is communicated by business head bypassing manager. Need focus ratings are given to even good performed with good comments by manager because those are decided by central HR and business head. The approach is to make sure natural attrition or unplanned layoff. Every quarter some or other teams loose there talent to layoff.

Great colleagues who collaborate. Systems are ok. Great increment and bonuses if you're ranked well for your performance review

Cons

Terrible compensation if you're not ranked higher or well liked by your managers. Limited promotion opportunities. Have to take on many projects to be able to "make it" to the promotion list. Promotion isn't guaranteed.

Very limited pros, you can count a good work life balance ( that's again differ from project to project , and you never know until when it will stay put) .

Cons

A lot of cons including very limited appraisal/hike (~2-3%) , no promotion for years, toxic managers with no/limited technical background , lots of freeloaders just pretending to work.
