Pros

You start as a temp and when you get officially hired in (if you do) you have to be there consistently for nine months to get benefits. But apparently it’s great insurance that covers everything and the company pays for it. I wouldn’t know because I decided it wasn’t worth it to keep hurting myself and breaking my back to do this job part time. Lots of people use it as a seasonal second job around the holidays. Many people use it as a second job just for the insurance. As a result people show up just enough to get the ins and they aren’t reliable. Being reliable means you have to be there breaking your back trying to make up for all the people who didn’t show. The hours are horrible and inconsistent no matter what shift you are on. I am not a morning person but I was on the early morning shift which meant I could get my kids to and from school and still work. I decided putting them on the bus and going to work on a regular office schedule for more pay paid way more sense for me. Watching people who were there for 30 years struggle into retirement made me realize I didn’t want to do this long term. The pancake breakfasts were great but it didn’t make up for the short comings and disconnect from HR that was unreachable.

Cons

Nearly everything except insurance and I got a great workout even started to get an definition up toward my ribs that I never had before.

Pros

Good rate for the hours and only required for 4 hrs per day, either all mornings or evenings. Good for people who need a good monthly wage but have regular non-working commitments during he day like studies at Uni.

Cons

Very early start if you pick early shift, you're in ready to start at 4am. It gets hectic very quickly if you are short staffed and some employees were challenging to work with to say the least.
