Pros

The work and the people. As for working for my next to last supervisor, the additional responsibilities given to me to address issues as they arose.

Cons

The weakness of some supervisors to who attempted to hold me back. Cutting responsibilities and not listening to suggestions provided.

Pros

Benefits for part time include medical, dental, vision, and paid time off. Pay checks come weekly, and UPS offers plenty of training.

Cons

Most everyone is part time. Opportunities to advance are limited because most qualified supervisors are hungry for any potential openings. Union protects poor employees from discipline which creates a difficult atmosphere

Pros

After you gain seniority, you will have access to some of the best medical benefits. You also get vision and dental, not to mention the job security that comes with joining a Union.

Cons

There is a lot of disrespect from the higher level supervisors. I've witnessed a supervisor screaming and yelling at his employees on a regular basis. If you injure yourself on the job they will do everything in their power to discredit what happened.
