Pros

Great opportunity to get your foot in the door at UPS. It's a fun and easy job and you are basically getting paid to exercise.

Cons

You need to be in shape. Getting up and down from the truck 300-400 times a day will wear on your knees.

Pros

The driver helper job is a great part time income before Christmas. The pay is alright at $15/hr and the job is easy. You just run to the door step and that's it. More importantly, the drivers get paid well because the Teamsters Union makes it that way. They start at $21/hr while Amazon drivers start at $15/hr. That is the difference a union makes.

Cons

The seat driver helpers have isn't even a real seat. It is a sort of padded board that you fold down and sit on. When sitting on it, it is best to let your body sway with the vehicle because even though it feels like you might fall off, you won't, and if you hold tight to the board you're sitting on, it puts more strain on your back.
