Pros

The driver that I worked with taught me a lot about UPS. We got along pretty well and had a created a pretty good rhythm for me to pass him the packages and create a wall. I learned how to use the DIAD in a couple days. Longer days meant more pay, but being a driver helper honestly is a pretty cool job.

Cons

On the first day I got chased and barked at by a Chihuahua. Running with packages in the rain.

Pros

The pay is pretty decent for a job that requires no degree just high school education. Drivers make a lot more and have a lot more flexibility than driver helpers.

Cons

During the busy season (winter) you can get bogged down and get super run down from all the walking. Make sure you bring about a gallon of water and some snacks to eat.
