Job security that is earned.

Pros

The benefits are nice. Vacations are better. Seniority is the best. As time goes by, you earn more. So after spending my college days here, I find myself with six years worth of perks that amounts to a whole month of paid time off plus a week of paid sick days. Makes it harder to choose whether to purse an entry level job away from UPS or continue my tenured path and eventually earn a Driver position.

Cons

Attitudes of entitled workers can lead to drama queens, negativity, and lower moral. That being said, supervisors are just as bad if not worse in the sense that they feel manipulation, constant yelling, and verbal abuse is the way to encourage your workforce to work harder.

It was a good job for school.

Pros

-Short hours; for the time I can spend on personal projects. -Start out at decent pay per hour. -Can help you stay in shape, somewhat.

Cons

-Short hours; unless you can make it to full time, management, or unless you have simply worked there for several years, you wont really make enough money to cover the bills. -Depressing working environment; There is no effort in making the hub a place anybody would ever want to be. Its dirty, dark, loud, dusty, and devoid of color or anything happy. -Some of the managers aren't above lying to get you to come to work, even if you have a perfectly good reason not to be there, like a death in the family.
