Leadership is corrupt as officer's are holding on to jobs based upon irrelevant qualifications - "conducting." How hard is it to conduct a march? The career field constantly downsizes and will likely go away in the next 8-10 years as soon as Air Force leadership or congressional leaders figure out that we are drastically exaggerating our value. We could do this job much better, with a 50% reduction in manpower. Hardest career field to promote in. Takes 13-15 years to get promoted to E-6 due to past leadership failures that flooded our career field with too many E-6/E-7's.

Do 6-figure work for barely $40k. Benefits are tedious to use, expect leadership changes constantly, no singular vision, office politics, "look out for yourself" mentality... a lot of preaching about camaraderie, but no practice. LOTS OF FRAUD WASTE AND ABUSE AND A BROKEN PROMOTIONS SYSTEM.
