Pros

Steady employment, variety of people and locations. Rare opportunities for travel to unheard of places. Unconventional and challenging duties in and outside of career specialty.

Cons

Poor management/leadership. Most personell only concerned with their performance reports with convoluted concepts of what a given mission is. Disciplinary actions are often administered without so much as consulting any persons involved in a dispute or incident. Time can be monopolized by duties through long hours and work on 'days off'
