Stability for 4 to 6 years as long as you listen to instructions and follow through with your job related expectations. Follow orders, listen, learn quickly and push yourself toward advancement and the opportunities are boundless. The best part of a career with the Air Force is the educational benefits available to help you obtain a Bachelors degree.

Cons

As with any adventure in life, there are good old boy situations or clicks in which you need to belong to in order to advance your career. In addition, some careers provide better opportunities for career progression and earning rank while other jobs limit your ability to promote quickly. The people or management styles vary throughout the military and some base assignments provide more fast paced opportunity while others are slow and monotonous. Overall, its a great place to begin your career with educational and technological growth potential.
