- You could give your life in service to this "company" - Standing committments that are, generally, unbreakable (i.e. enlistment terms of 4-6 years)

Unmatched training, dynamic professional/ leadership development opportunity and solid development for professional experience in dynamically challenging environments. The Air Force can quite arguably be said to have the healthiest focus for informing and taking care of their people, amongst all branches of the military. 100% medical, full tuition assistance and on-base quality of life standards.

Cons

Budget cuts and politics can increasing surmount as one enters the Middle and especially Senior ranks, for enlisted/ officer. Can be located in some extremely hazardous work environments while being away from home for long periods of time.

Pros

Comradery among the boys (and gals). Security forces are a real family. Everywhere you go, whatever State or country you're tdy in or deployed to, you all are family and stick together. It's something you only get in that life and line of work. You don't ever see that anywhere ever again when you get out.

Cons

Hours sometimes expected and performed. Everything in life seems cake walk post active duty. I own and operate a large franchise gym and i have so much free time now it's just incomparable.
