Pros

You get to learn about so many things. Its all free. You can go to collage for free while your in. They pay for your room & board and all your food. The chow Halls are not your Grandfathers chow Halls. We have World Class Cooks cooking your meals and yep they are trained to be World Class Cooks in the ARMY. Once you become a Soldier in the ARMY your training will make you marketable in the World as long as you keep seeking the knowledge. The great thing is the ARMY will give you a chance to share that knowledge with others also. Its gives you a chance to Mentor and Manage others. You can not trade this life experience for anything. Being 19 yrs old and being in charge of Millions of dollars of equipment. Only cause that person knew everything about his equipment inside and out and was disciplined. Were else in the World could you do that? I joined when I was 25 yrs old and I am 32 yrs old now and I have got to do some amazing things and seen some amazing things.

Cons

So as every Job, you got to put up with crap. Who doesn't have to put up with crap? As long as you can stand all the crap you will be fine. Remember you get what you put into life. The deployments are not fun but I VOLUNTEERED. Less then .5% of the population of the United States has Volunteered for Military Service. We are the .5% .lol.
