Pros

Lots of specialized training that can be beneficial after you complete your service. Ability to work in different levels on the supply chain. Can be very fulfilling to see the time and dedication you put in your work make a positive impact on the mission.

Cons

Every unit is different and your job will be different at each unit. Some people look at support jobs with a negative connotation. Yo will be working more than your fellow Soldiers, once they are done, they go home. Supply work is never done.

Pros

decent pay and good benefits is one reason to stay in the military. Experiences will vary depending on leadership, location and operations tempo.

Cons

Occasionally there are toxic leaders in the military, that for some reason the army feels the need to continue to promote. This can make a possible great experience turn into a not so great experience. Then you're stuck trying to relocate or waiting out the leadership until the next group comes in. They could be better or worse.
