Pros

Benefits are good and pay can be good if you promote to E5. Employment is incredibly stable.

Cons

Hours can be unpredictable, management is mediocre in all aspects, and depending on your job your the can be very unrewarding. Most of my time in the Navy I’ve felt like I haven’t grown professionally or personally. Only at the very start and the last year have I felt like my life was moving in a forward direction.

Pros

Great Benefits Most Weekends Off

Cons

If you're single and don't care to spend time with family or care more about work than your family, then the Navy is for you. You'll almost never me home while attached to a ship.
