Benefits and compensation. People I work with were really nice and fun to be with.

Cons

The young officers they assigned are not prepared and not experienced enough to lead or manage but they are there. They should have more training and exposure to the fleet before they should become officers. The senior officers all want to get promoted and forget what the junior personnel needs. All they want to do is look good without even doing good. Some seniors fail physical readiness standards but their seniors let them pass without realizing the affect to the junior troops who takes care of their physical fitness to make sure they pass standards. Not a good example at all. If you notice fat officers its because the seniors are blind or using buddy buddy system.

Decent Benefits, but you work way too many hours for them. And Navy medical is a joke. I'd rather give myself an operation than let those quacks touch me.

Terrible Management DEPLOYMENT Terrible Pay No recognition Achieving rank is a popularity contest If you're happy working 90+ hours a week, then this is the job for you
