Pros

Dream job. Unbelievable opportunity to learn about the most groundbreaking topics in international economic affairs. You'll work with the best-educated persons from countries of all UN-Member-States. Opportunity of a lifetime. Seize it.

Cons

They've added a staff council and a dispute settlement system since I worked there, which I believe addresses the problems I saw while there. Unfortunately due to the U.S. funding cuts, jobs currently held are being cut 20% under the UN80 proposals by UN management. This is an effort to protect the UN and more-or-less to save the multilateral system. In this light, at this time, I'll withhold criticism. The UN and the multilateral system is important for the world, and I support it.
