Pros

Meet amazing people from all around the world. Manage, produce and attend very high level events and learn the ins-and-outs of the UN system. Try to be there for the annual UN General Assembly in September.

Cons

Great for a summer fellowship/internship, but there is not a clearly defined way from many volunteer posts to a full-time position. That said, the experience/knowledge is very useful when applying to future UN careers.
