Pros

I’ve had a solid experience at VFS Global. The work exposes you to multiple countries, government partners, and fast-moving operations. Processes are structured, and there’s a real focus on compliance and customer experience. Colleagues are supportive, and cross-team collaboration has improved over the past year. Workload can spike during peak seasons but planning and tooling have gotten better. Good place if you enjoy ownership, stakeholder management, and learning on the job. Would love to see continued investment in automation and clearer career paths across regions.

Cons

Change management/SOP updates sometimes lag operational reality. Peak seasons can be intense with extended hours/coverage. Cross-functional approvals across regions can slow decisions.

Pros

Years ago I'd say that there is chance to learn something.

Cons

Management is extremely biased and promotions are handed only to favorites, not to those who actually perform. Annual evaluations are a sham, designed to protect the chosen few. Employees are forced to work excessive hours for months, including holidays, without any compensation. When I complained that I need to have a life I was told that my only option is to deal with it or else I will be dismissed. When mistakes are made, management protects their favorites and punishes the whistle blowers instead. Ethical and financial corruption is covered up unless it is too exposed and they have to do something about it. HR is the most toxic part of the company — from the Country Manager up to the CHRO — they respond to employees demanding their rights with intimidation and threats instead of support. I personally experienced religious bias: I was denied leave for my own religious holiday, while others were freely granted theirs. And if you ever try to reach out to upper management, your direct managers will attack you and use every unethical tactic to threaten you and block your way. The culture is built on favoritism, fear, and retaliation, not on the fairness, growth, or accountability it is claimed to be built on.
