Pros
Coworkers are great, fun crowd, lots of camaraderie. Office cafeteria has lots of snacks, drinks, etc...as well as breakfast tacos Fridays and beer/wings in the afternoon.
Cons
Excessive micro-management with regard to Sales. No stress on product knowledge, nor any care toward actual productivity, but rather the appearance of productivity. Contests and incentives drive the floor and hinder any account management, as the push is to accrue "tally-marks" to win money, instead of discover, qualify, and develop legitimate sales opportunities. Unrealistic quotas for the territories-- which directly affects income. Management shrugged off the issue with a half-hearted apology. For territories that suffered from last year's hurricanes- no exceptions or acknowledgements were made regarding earning abilities/quota adjustments. Too much emphasis on floor ranking (also heavily weighted on contests and call statistics), it's a determining factor in career advancement and firing/layoffs. Some people appear to have been set up for promotion instead of earning it. Days are spent being monitored, judged, tallied, and ranked.
