Pros
Opportunities to work on world class systems products. However very difficult to actually make use of this.
Cons
micro-management, management is not hands on at all. No engineering manager and above writes or reads code (has probably never even deployed a daaS system on their own). Heavy share of pointless meetings per day. Constant pressure of daily scrums. When someone speaks up, the axe will fall on him on January or July. I still give it 3 stars, as globally VMware is a very strong brand. Does great community work. Very innovative, great CEO. Stay away from Horizon team in Bangalore though. (Unless you are in JP Nagar, in which case probably the traffic trade-off will just tip off the balance. Most of the management DOES stay there.)
