Pros

- high salary - a lot of benefits that are taxed unfortunately - good place to learn new things as you interact with many environments - if you are lucky a good and fair manager( this was my case)

Cons

- false information from upper management - you work like a dog but only get taps on the back - unfairness in bonus system which favors specific teams - workload is so high you work 9 hours out of 8 - extra workload created because of bad decisions when it comes to features and product logic - very bad work-life balance - empty promises when it comes to raises and promotions - people with less experience get hired with a lot more money then senior employees - cutting benefits instead of rewarding hard work - the list goes on

Pros

The Ceo. Great hire with Anand. Hoping he sees the issues with the culture and turns it around but doubtful.

Cons

Extremely toxic culture. If you want to sit on 5+ hrs of forecast calls like its the 80s this is the place for you. Enterprise deals do not close in 30 days. Stop asking me to call the partner multiple times a week to get an update on a $20k deal at a big name account. All it is doing is annoying the partner reps. The health insurance is terrible. They don't cover anything. Had a surgery and was told to do 8 weeks of PT 3x per week. Insurance covered 10 total visits. TEN!!! Asked HR to step in and help here for which they replied 'there's nothing they can do'. Finally, comp. Not only does Veeam pay under market value, they will find anyway they can to take money out of your pockets. First red flag was when the sales teams were docked 25% of a multi year deal to give to the renewals team. You read that right. A net new customer buying a 3 year deal and 25% of the deal was taken from the sales team and given to the renewals team who did nothing to help close it. The final straw is closing 7 figure deals and only getting quota credit for 25% of the deal. It's astounding a company can allow someone to work and close a deal paid up front (no financing) and the sales team not get properly compensated on it. To give you perspective, this took what should have been 11k in commission for this deal down to $2k, while the leaders take a $4mil deal to the board.

Pros

The pay is good, relative to the difficulty of the job

Cons

There is no correlation between performance and reward at this company. Promotions WILL go to manager's friends, rather than the best performers.
