      Pros

      There is a lot of opportunity for people who are mobile and can speak multiple languages. The organization spans into multiple countries and are located on multiple continents. So the right person who can speak multiple languages can do well at Veolia

      Cons

      The North America divisions struggles to find a decisive strategic directions. You often have multiple business lines competing against one another for projects. Instead of working as one company with a shared goal -- each business line competes against the other and often time neither business unit wins the complete project.

      Pros

      Exposed to varied technology and an eclectic mix of individuals. Well paid and good terms and conditions generally. Generally a fairly relaxed environment in which to work.

      Cons

      They certainly do not hold true to most of their corporate values. Truth and Honesty deserts senior personnel where jealousy and fear for job or being overshadowed demonstrates inordinate bias. Incompetence is rewarded. HR only exist to perform the functions of Company and not you personally. Disorganized on some levels with incompetents retained in senior positions. No real career prospects.

      The job is challenging decent and requires a brain. We load barges truck and rail cars we run the plant using dcs the Honeywell computer system three operators to s shift

      Cons

      We still have to work it's hot and cold outside. We start up our plant twenty four seven we are responsible for millions of dollars of equipment
