- Constant turnover with leadership team - Cost cutting has reduced workforce so employees are expected to do more with less - Employees invest time and effort into the company but the company does not invest in its employees. Example, minimal raises (3% or less on average), no expanded training beyond new hire training, bonus structure poor, not many opportunities for career advancement) - Cost cuts prevent leadership team to make decisions to invest in teams or businesses that could increase revenue to the company - Benefit cost increases so more out of pocket expense or deduction from salary - Constant unstable environment due to the amount of layoffs that occur - Culture is much different now than previous years. There is poor communication from executives, no feeling of an overall "team" environment, employees feel like just a $ not as if company values them - Leadership not willing to invest in making improved process or efficiencies unless it is just cutting headcount. Employees spend a lot of time trying to fix internal issues rather than doing their assigned job
