Pros

Nice working part time as a secondary school - rent free student, well paid, easy work, great perks. The appeal wears off as you tend towards full-time work as a self-supporting individual.

Cons

Not very flexible, FBS ruined the once great Waitrose.

Pros

Really get along with the people I work with, if it wasn't for them I would've left a long long time ago. Also the Bonus is always a good incentrive

Cons

Very aggressive upper management, always pushing you to do more in a very uncomfortable manner. You are not allowed to swap shifts. Constant refusal of holiday requests.

Pros

Good pay compared to field average Bonus (10-20% of salary) Discount at John Lewis and Waitrose Easy to have a life outside of work

Cons

Supermarket work - destined to be dull and unchallenging. No real future relative to say city finance jobs Surrounded by people with no aspirations beyond a supermarket
