Pros

Nice friendly staff and customers good place to work 20% discount on Waitrose and JLP products and free food at Xmas time in the PDR room

Cons

Hard work and near impossible targets at times , also the absence policy needs to be fairer as some partners like me have serious health conditions so need a lot of time off for medical treatment and having to attend disciplinary meetings over my absence is not good as it affects my mental health and just makes me think there is a lack of compassion from the head office who invented this 3 day absence a year policy.

Pros

You get paid your contracted hours, unlike other supermarkets that want you to be available for your contracted hours but make you clock in and out.

Cons

Ridiculously overcomplicated IT systems, they are more secure and require more password changes than your banking app. Its so secure staff have difficulty accessing training etc.
