Pros

Friendly atmosphere, flexible hours, annual bonus, great social life and opportunities to work with people of different ages/backgrounds. Options to work overtime at 1.5x pay. John Lewis and Waitrose discount.

Cons

Sometimes working hours unsociable and long over the Christmas period. Overall, can't really think of many cons. Difficult to get promoted if working on part time basis.

Pros

Waitrose are a company who are renowned for their high quality customer service ethos and are committed to ensuring a very high quality customer experience. All staff are treated equally with equal opportunities, with every member of staff having a say in the business, with each opinion being valued as highly as the rest.

Cons

When arriving on my first shift, I was told I should have received an email prior informing me of training which needed to be completed as well as other requirements to be completed before my first shift, however this was sent to me a few days after, with a new start date.
