Pros

The job has great potential if Walgreens were to hire seasoned manager and actually develop their staff. I have experienced little stress, so my work to home life is good. The pay tops out well but with the performance pay systems takes 10 years plus to reach a livable wage.

Cons

APO,s are not respected and are among the lowest paid employees in the warehouse, despite having more responsibilities. Pay is based on a performance system designed for managers not base employees who have little to no way of excelling due to not being provided training opportunities to advance. The manager send herself to training and tAkes extended lunch breaks but negates to send even one APO so they may acquire new skills. Extremely poor leadership. To fix this I would replace the existing manager along with the regional APM, change to performance pay scale and start with seasoned manager
